Michael A. Erskine, President (2025-2026) michael.erskine@mtsu.edu
Michael A. Erskine is an Associate Professor of Information Systems and Analytics at Middle Tennessee State University and Director of the Center for Cybersecurity Management. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Information Systems from the University of Colorado Denver. His research explores the intersections of technology governance, educational technology, disaster and safety management systems, location analytics, and workforce development in the digital economy. Dr. Erskine’s work has appeared in leading journals such as Information Systems Frontiers, Information Systems Journal, Computers in Human Behavior, Information & Management, and Journal of Computer Information Systems. A recognized thought leader in IT project management and location analytics, Dr. Erskine actively contributes to the academic community. He has received multiple awards for teaching, research, and service, including the Jones College of Business’s Overall Excellence Award and the AIS Award for Innovation in Teaching.

Xiaodan Yu, Treasurer (2025-2026) xyu@uibe.edu.cn
Dr. Xiaodan Yu is an Associate Professor at the School of Information Technology and Management, University of International Business and Economics. She received her PhD in Information Technology from the University of Nebraska Omaha. Her research areas of interest include IT project management, digital education, smart senior care, and cross-cultural study. She has received grants from Chinese National Natural Science Foundation, Beijing Social Science Foundation, Ministry of Education of China, and Austrian Agency for Education and Internationalisation. Her research mainly concentrates on theory development regarding information system design, usage, and effectiveness evaluation at the organizational, team, and individual levels. Her major research results have been published in international academic journals such as Information and Management, Communications of the Association for Information Systems, Information and Software Technology, Journal of Medical Internet Research, Journal of Computer Information Systems, Group Decision and Negotiation, and Applied Mathematics and Computation. She teaches courses such as Information System Analysis and Design, Virtual Team and Online Collaboration, Digital Economy, Management Information Systems, and Doctoral Research Seminar. She is the department chair of Information Systems. She has been actively engaged in serving the IS community for over 10 years. She served as co-chair of conference track, AE or reviewers for conferences like ICIS, ECIS, HICSS, AMCIS, PACIS, and ITQM. She’s also an ad hoc reviewer for journals such as MIS Quarterly, Information Systems Journal, Information and Management, DATA BASE for Advances in Information Systems, Information Technology and People, Annuals of Data Science, and Risk. Besides, she has actively collaborated with businesses through R&D programs. Several companies she has worked closely with include Sinopharm International, Meituan, Jingdong, and Shandong Gangtong Consulting Company.

Dr. Carol McGuire is an Associate Teaching Professor at Miami University (OH), teaching foundational and strategic concepts of MIS. Previously, she served as a visiting faculty member at the Copenhagen Business School teaching IT and Management Strategy. She holds a PhD from Case Western Reserve, an MBA from the University of St. Thomas, and a BS from Miami University in Organizational Behavior and MIS.
Dr. McGuire brings practical relevance into the classroom through her extensive industry experience leading functional areas of IT in large organizations. She is currently the Managing Partner of a management consulting firm specializing in strategic IT issues within organizations. Her work has appeared in the annual conferences of the Association for Information Systems, International Engaged Management Scholarship, and Academy of Management.

Gaurav Shekhar, Immediate Past President (2021-2025) dgaurav.shekhar@utdallas.edu
Gaurav is the Program Director of the Graduate Business Analytics Program (FLEX and Online). He is also an Assistant Professor of Instruction in the Information Systems area and teaches courses like Business Intelligence and Digital Consulting to both Graduate and Undergraduates. His main areas of research are IT Project Management, AI/Machine Learning, Natural Language, and Organizational Leadership. He enjoys working with students and works with them across academic and non-academic areas. He has been instrumental in setting up student and corporate engagement programs at UT Dallas. He is one big believer in the concept of Servant Leadership which is the base of most of his initiatives. He is open to new ideas and feels that empowering the students is a great way to serve the school and the university. He heads the Toastmasters District in North Eastern Texas, which has a strong presence in the School of Management as well.

Deepak is Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Professor of Information Systems and Quantitative Analysis, and Community Engagement and Internationalization Officer in the College of Information Science & Technology (IS&T) at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO). He has affiliate faculty appointments in UNO’s International Studies program and the Leonard and Shirley Goldstein Center for Human Rights. He has adjunct/affiliate faculty appointments at the University of Agder (Norway), Management Center Innsbruck (Austria), and the University of International Business & Economics (Beijing, China). He currently serves on the Board of Management of two Universities in India, Brownell Talbot High School Board of Trustees, the Collective for Youth Advisory Board, and the Refugee Empowerment Center Board in Omaha. He was the founder of SIGITProjMgmt, served as VP of Programs for the PMI Heartlands Chapter, President of the Midwest AIS, co-chaired AMCIS 2005, and was a member of the AIS Council.
