AIS Student Chapter Competitions

AIS Student Chapter competitions provide students opportunities to learn, observe and develop their skills with current industry leaders. The aim is to allow students to take their classroom knowledge and apply it to real-life situations they might face in the workforce.

This is an excellent opportunity for students to participate without traveling and, to further encourage participation, multiple submissions from the same school are welcome.

Microsoft Analytics Challenge

As an organization, Microsoft has been carbon neutral across the world since 2012 and has a commitment to become carbon negative by 2030. Microsoft is inviting the creative minds of our brightest IS students from AIS Student Chapters to join in the effort to develop sustainability in their communities. Teams will be supported by Microsoft resources and professionals and all participating students will receive vouchers to complete certifications in Microsoft products. AIS Software Innovation Challenge

As students and future practitioners of Information Systems (IS), you play a significant part in the AIS mission to serve society. The AIS Software Innovation Challenge focuses on information systems solutions, innovations and initiatives that help make the world a better, safer place for organizations and society in general. This challenge will allow you to demonstrate the impact that IS can have in improving the world in which live. Successful submissions will propose an IS/IT-centered solution to a problem or opportunity that addresses one of the 17 sustainable development goals.
