Systems Student Research Journal (ISSRJ), a newly established AIS-affiliated journal specifically designed to showcase pioneering research by IS students.
ISSRJ provides a dedicated platform for both undergraduate and graduate students to present their contributions to the global IS community. The journal seeks to spotlight student research distinguished by its scientific relevance and innovative ideas, which traditional academic outlets often overlook. The journal prioritizes insightful contributions and ensure research transparency without an overt focus on methodological sophistication, making it an ideal venue for emerging scholars.
The journal accepts submissions in various formats, including research papers, thesis digests, innovation snapshots, and reflection notes, across all IS subfields. The journal features a supportive double-blind peer review process with evaluation criteria tailored to undergraduate and graduate levels. The journal is committed to providing developmental support through comprehensive review packages and editor consultations, with a three-month review cycle from submission to acceptance. The journal celebrates novel and unconventional ideas while encouraging unique research topics and methods. Students can submit work completed during their studies or within two years of graduation.
