President-Elect - Dr. Albert Fleischmann

Albert Fleischmann is founder and scientific advisor of Metasonic AG. Before this role, he was CEO of the company from its founding in 2004 until 2009. As a result of his work as a consultant, he has acquired many years of experience in process management. In 2003 he was a member of the rating board for the European Quality Award. Before becoming a consultant, Albert Fleischmann worked for various international hardware manufacturers in research, service, and sales. His focus was on developing and implementing distributed software systems and the description and implementation of business processes in particular. He has written several books and various articles on these topics. Albert Fleischmann studied Business Information Systems at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany, where he also did his Ph.D.

Secretary - Nikolai Kazantsev

Dr Nikolai Kazantsev is a postdoctoral research associate in the Elastic Manufacturing Project, Institute for Manufacturing, University of Cambridge. His research interests are digital transformation, business model innovation and manufacturing ecosystems. Nikolai collaborates with the DIGIT Lab, Initiative in the Digital Economy (INDEX) at the University of Exeter and the Digital Transformation group at the University of Manchester.

Treasurer - Prof. Dr. Dr. Mikhail M. Komarov

Professor Komarov joined HSE University in December 2011 as a lecturer. Further, he served as deputy head of the faculty, was promoted to associate professor position and to a professor position, and till 2020 served as deputy head of the department. Now he is a professor in the department of Business Informatics at the HSE Graduate School of Business and academic supervisor of a master programme "E-business and digital innovations". A special grant awarded Professor Komarov as the best young innovator and entrepreneur in 2008. He also was awarded a scholarship from the President of the Russian Federation to study abroad in 2010-2011 (he had a research internship at the University of Birmingham, UK). Professor Komarov received two undergraduate (2008, 2009) degrees in IT and Management, one graduate degree in IT (2010) and two doctoral degrees (one from Russia (2012), one from Finland (2016)). From 2012 to 2019, he was an invited professor in different universities, including Lancaster University Management School. From 2012 till now, he has been invited expert and speaker at the UN Internet Governance Forum. He is a senior member of the IEEE. Member of the steering committee of the IEEE Conference on Business Informatics. Member of Academy of Management. Member of the Association of Information Systems. Founding member of the Special Interest Group on Big Data Applications at the Association of Information Systems. Member of the Technical Committee on Business Informatics and Systems IEEE. His research projects and papers were focused on e-business, mobile commerce, distributed ledger technology, and new business models. They were published in more than 30 top international and Russian peer-reviewed professional journals.
