President - Alan Dennis

Alan R. Dennis is a Distinguished Professor of Information Systems and holds the John T. Chambers Chair of Internet Systems in the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. He has published more than 150 papers, primarily on AI, team collaboration, and fake news on social media. His research has been reported in the popular press almost 1000 times, and a recent Stanford study placed him among the top 2% most influential researchers across all scientific disciplines. He received the LEO Award, the IS field’s highest honor, in 2021. He is a past president of AIS and also served as vice president for conferences.
Vice President - Ilias Pappas

Ilias Pappas is a Full Professor of Information Systems at the Department of Computer Science, Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Norway. His research and teaching focus on data science, digital transformation, human-centered AI, user experience, and digital marketing. He has a particular interest in the application of fuzzy-set Qualitative Comparative Analysis (fsQCA). He has contributed to several EU- and nationally funded projects (e.g., Horizon 2020, Horizon Europe, Research Council of Norway), focusing on human-centered AI, data analytics, and innovation through digital collaboration platforms. He has published over 150 peer-reviewed articles in leading journals and conferences and currently serves on the editorial boards of e.g., International Journal of Information Management, Journal of Business Research.
Treasurer - Dan O'Leary

Dan O’Leary is the Ernst & Young Professor of Accounting, and holds a Courtesy Appointment as Professor of Data Sciences and Operations at the University of Southern California. His research focuses on artificial intelligence, emerging technologies, and text mining. He serves as an Editor of Wiley’s Intelligent Systems in Accounting, Finance and Management, and sits on editorial boards in information systems and AI. He is a former editor of IEEE Intelligent Systems. Dan was named a Fulbright Research Scholar in AI (France, 2021–2022) and received the AIS Paul Gray Award for “Most Thought-Provoking Paper” (2021). He is Senior Member of the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence, an AIS Distinguished Member – Cum Laude, on the Research.com list of the 2025 “Best Scientists - Computer Science” and a “Highly Ranked Scholar Lifetime - 2024” by ScholarGPS. Finally, he is a recipient of multiple teaching innovation awards, a Qlik Ambassador, and was named a UiPath Visionary Educator in RPA.
Secretary - Sarah Hönigsberg

Sarah Hönigsberg is an Assistant Professor in Information Systems & Digital Transformation at the ICN Business School, Paris La Défense, France. She holds a Ph.D. in Information Systems from the Chemnitz University of Technology. Her research focuses on digital transformation in small organizations and business networks, AI adoption, and the crossroads of digital transformation and sustainability. Sarah has published in the Technological Forecasting and Social Change, Communications of the Association for Information Systems, The Data Base for Advances in Information Systems, and at conferences like ICIS, ECIS, AMCIS, WI, and HICSS. She serves as Managing Editor at the Journal of Association for Information Systems and as a board member in the AIS Doctoral Student College, the AIS SIGSVC, and AIS SIG AI.
Communications Chair - Laura Watkowski

Laura Watkowski is a postdoctoral researcher in Business and Information Systems Engineering at the University of Bayreuth in Germany. Her research explores the intersection of digital literacy, technology-mediated learning, and the evolving role of knowledge workers in the context of digital transformation. She focuses particularly on the tandem transformation of individuals and organizations, examining how emerging technologies reshape work, learning, and governance. Laura has presented her work at major Information Systems conferences, including the European Conference on Information Systems and the Americas Conference on Information Systems, and has published in international journals, e.g., Communications of the Association for Information Systems. She has also held leadership roles as Vice President and Secretary of the AIS Doctoral Student College.
Membership Chair - Antino Kim

Antino Kim is an Associate Professor of Information Systems at the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University. He was appointed a Grant Thornton Scholar in 2019. His research explores AI and human interaction, misinformation, digital piracy, and markets for information goods. He has published in top-tier IS journals—including MIS Quarterly, Journal of Management Information Systems, Information Systems Research—on topics such as fake news, chatbot effectiveness, and the economics of piracy. His work includes highly cited studies on source ratings to combat fake news and the economic dynamics of digital piracy. He is the recipient of multiple research awards and currently serves as the PhD Program Coordinator for Information Systems at Kelley.
Student Ambassador - Hendrik Wache

Hendrik Wache is a postdoctoral researcher specializing in Digital Twins and Smart Service Systems. He earned his doctorate from Chemnitz University of Technology in Germany and currently holds a teaching position at ICN Business School in France. His dissertation applied action design research to integrate digital twins into manufacturing ecosystems, with a focus on sociotechnical design and the alignment of technical architectures with organizational practices. Hendrik has presented his research at leading international conferences, including the European Conference on Information Systems, the Americas Conference on Information Systems, and the Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences. His work explores how digital twins act as boundary-spanning artifacts, enabling collaboration between human and machine actors in complex service systems.
