ECIS 2026 — Track “Platforms, Sourcing, and Governance in the Digital Age”
The SIG DSPE is proud to organize the track “Platforms, Sourcing, and Governance in the Digital Age” at the European Conference on Information Systems (ECIS) 2026, which will take place June 15–17, 2026 in Milan, Italy. This track examines how platformization and evolving sourcing models transform IS governance. The track chairs invite studies on platform design and governance, multilateral sourcing configurations (multi-/plural-/crowd-/cloud-sourcing), responsible/AI-enabled governance, data governance, and ecosystem resilience—using empirical, conceptual, design, simulation, and mixed methods. https://ecis2026.it/track-descriptions/platforms-sourcing-and-governance-in-the-digital-age/
Submission deadline: 17 November 2025, 23:59 CET for completed and short papers.
See “Call for Submissions & Important Dates.” https://ecis2026.it/call-for-submissions/
AMCIS 2026 — Track “Digital Sourcing, Platforms, and Ecosystems”
Members of the SIG DSPE will also chair the track “Digital Sourcing, Platforms, and Ecosystems” at the Americas Conference on Information Systems (AMCIS) 2026, which will take place 20–22 August 2026 in Reno, Nevada (USA). Building on our previous AMCIS activities, the 2026 track will again welcome broad work on digital sourcing choices and outcomes; governance of platform ecosystems and partnerships; co-innovation and development processes; and implications for organizations and society. Expect minitracks spanning crowdsourcing and gig/sharing platforms, platform thinking in incumbents, and transitions from product- to platform-centric organizing.
