The Special Interest Group for Big Data Application (SIG BD) is proud to organize the 9th annual workshop in conjunction with the ICIS 2023.
The workshop will feature research papers that focus on the modern real-time data stream sources, advanced tools and technologies for real-time data stream ingestion, storage, processing and analytics, real-time streaming platforms for developing Real-Time Big Data Analytical Applications in various fields, including e-Business, Pricing and Analytics, Network Monitoring, Risk Management, Fraud Detection, Personalized Marketing and Advertising, improving Healthcare, Predictive Maintenance in manufacturing and covering a range of topics.
The workshop welcomes further relevant research.
The workshop will be held as a one-day meeting in conjunction with the ICIS 2023. Workshop participants will be charged a nominal registration fee.
At the beginning of the workshop there will be invited key-note talk from the industrial expert.
There will also be youth ambassador of the SIG BD presented at the workshop, who will moderate a Youth panel discussion (after the main workshop at the same venue) devoted to real-time Big Data analytical applications discussing challenges and opportunities from the prospective of young generation (graduate students, doctoral students, young professionals). We welcome your short talks where you indicate a topic/issue you would like to raise and short description (100 words maximum).
If you wish to present your work, please send your abstract describing the key ideas by 5th December 23:59 CET.
The recommended structure of the paper: purpose (mandatory), design / methodology / approach (mandatory), findings (mandatory), research limitations / implications (if applicable), practical implications (if applicable), originality / value (mandatory).
An extended abstract will be included in AIS Library.
