Submission Guidelines:

All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference.

• Research Papers are full-length papers (up to 12 pages, single-space, 12 Times New Roman, 1-inch margins, excluding references).
• Research-in-Progress papers are promising but incomplete research projects that will benefit from the feedback of other MENACIS participants (up to 7 pages, single-space, 12 Times New Roman, 1-inch margins, excluding references).

Conference Themes 
To ensure a rich and diverse exchange of ideas, we encourage submissions that explore innovative topics within the field of information systems, particularly those relevant to the MENA region. We also aim to foster inclusivity by encouraging 
participation from researchers and practitioners around the world.
The themes for this year’s conference include, but are not limited to:

1. Information Systems in Conflict and Post-Conflict Recovery:  

A. Role of IS in conflict zones: Utilizing IS for peace-building and conflict resolution.

B. Humanitarian IS: Digital solutions for crisis communication, enhanced services and tracking systems and management in conflict zones.

C. Post-conflict recovery: Rebuilding infrastructure and governance through IS.

D. Impact of conflict on information system infrastructures and strategies for resilience.

2. IS Ethics and Data Privacy in Artificial Age:

A. Fake News and Comments and their effect on society.

B. Detection and mitigation of deep fake technologies.

C. Impact of fake medias and misinformation in conflict zone.

D. Ethical and regulatory challenges in managing digital mis/disinformation.

E. Cybersecurity and Data Privacy in the Digital Age.

3. AGI, and new AI and Business Analytics technologies in Emerging Countries:

A. Potential of AGI and Analytics in healthcare, education and public services in developing countries; (From traditional healthcare and education systems to AI-Powered-Ones).

B. AI in driven decision-making processes, manufacturing, and construction.

C. AGI Governance in Emerging Countries.

D. Ethical Considerations of AGI and privacy issues.

E. AI and data analytics for regional development.

F. Business analytics tools and techniques tailored for the MENA context.

4. Emerging Technologies in Developing Countries:

A. Blockchain, IoT applications beyond cryptocurrencies, including supply chain and healthcare.
