This is a 90 minute talk, apparently to an audience that includes USC academicians. While the entire talk is excellent, the five minute segment I particularly encourage you to look at starts at minute 29. He describes preparing 10 lectures to be seen by the University of Phoenix’s 135,000 MBA students and being amazed to discover they spend $350 Million per year on curriculum development.
If, as is the case today, we must compete in the online education market, then we find ourselves competing against these established players in a market where scale is more important than is face-to-face instruction. [The Video]
