WACAIS is the premier academic association for individuals and organizations who lead the research, teaching, practice, and study of information systems, e-business, ecommerce, and e-Marketing in West Africa which includes Senegal, Gambia, Guinea-Bissau, Mauritania,Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Benin, Togo, Burkina Faso, Ivory Cost, Ghana, Liberia, Sierra Leone,Guinea. The most important benefit of the WACAIS membership is to be part of the AIS community. Indeed,WACAIS fosters a sense of community amongst its members by creating specialized teams, adapted seminars, trainings, and joint projects.
The WACAIS has strong connections with the AIS communities around West Africa such as MENA, South of Europe, East of Africa and Central Africa.
