SIG CCRIS brings together scholars and professionals interested in how cultural, social, organizational, and institutional contexts shape the development, governance, use, and consequences of information systems and digital technologies.
We are an international and interdisciplinary community supporting culture-specific, comparative, and critical research across national, regional, organizational, and societal boundaries. We encourage dialogue across diverse theoretical and methodological traditions.

Cross-cultural perspectives on AI, digital platforms, globalization, and other emerging technological environments.
Institutions & Society
Culture, power, inclusion, trust, governance, ethics, and institutional differences in the development and use of IS.
We welcome culture-specific and comparative research, as well as qualitative, quantitative, design-oriented, and critical approaches, and encourage collaboration across regions and disciplines.
