Himanshu Gupta is a seasoned Senior Software Engineer with over a decade of experience advancing innovation in embedded systems, secure computing, and custom silicon development. At Google, he leads software development for the Pixel SoC’s cryptographic infrastructure, including a modular True Random Number Generator (TRNG) and a Rust-based memory-safe crypto driver for high-performance, secure operations. Before joining Google, Himanshu contributed to Microsoft’s Azure RTOS ecosystem, designing and implementing Device Management, secure boot, and Over-the-Air (OTA) update features to enhance IoT connectivity and reliability. Earlier in his career, he worked at Amazon Web Services and Oracle, optimizing large-scale systems and cloud-based storage infrastructure. A graduate of the University of Southern California’s Viterbi School of Engineering, Himanshu combines deep technical expertise with a passion for mentoring early-career engineers and evaluating innovative, real-world applications of AI, cybersecurity, and data-driven systems.
