Welcome to the Special Interest Group on Decision Support and Analytics (SIGDSA) – The International Society for Decision Support and Analytics! As one of the premier SIGs of the Association for Information Systems (AIS), it serves the community through the advancement of knowledge and the promotion of excellence in the practice and study of information systems through symposium.

AIS SIGDSA provides networking opportunities for people who conduct research, develop, and/or teach about any type of decision support/analytics, knowledge management, or data management systems intended to support managers and decision-makers. Members discuss issues related to the design, history, theory, practice, methods and techniques, new developments, and applications of computing technologies to support decision processes and decision-making by individuals, groups, and organizations.

Upcoming Event

SIGDSA, in conjunction with the International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS 2026), will hold the 2026 Pre-ICIS SIGDSA Symposium on December 12 and 13, 2026, at Nova School of Business and Economics, Lisbon, Portugal.

The symposium will focus on “Analytics and AI-Based Decision Support for Digital Collaboration and Coexistence.” More information, including important dates, can be found on the Pre-ICIS SIGDSA Symposium website. We look forward to your participation.
