SIG DITE Strategy renewal

SIG DITE Strategy Renewal

Dear SIG DITE members,
I am reaching out to you as president of the special interest group Digital Innovation, Transformation, and Entrepreneurship (SIG DITE) in the Association for Information Systems (AIS).
SIG DITE has established itself as a strong community focusing on studying digital phenomena and giving back to the community through workshops and other formats. As any good organization, SIG DITE is reconsidering its strategy. In June 2026, the SIG held an online workshop to get the strategy renewal going. We discussed potential priorities and goals in an open manner. Now, I would like to engage the whole community in the discussion.
To this end, the leadership board of the SIG has worked to develop an online questionnaire which I would kindly like to ask you to respond to. You can find the questionnaire by clicking on the link below/ copying the link into your browser. Your feedback will be instrumental in helping the leadership board revise the strategy of the SIG, define priorities, and develop new courses of action which we believe our society and community need in these times. I would appreciate receiving your answers within three weeks by September 1st this year. Please let me know if you would need more time.
This strategy renewal process is organized in multiple rounds. This is the first round which is most open as we are asking you to provide us with your feedback in plain text. The survey should take you a maximum of 25 minutes. Once we will have received feedback from all participants, we will group and condense it. Then, in the second round, we will reach out to you once again and share the feedback we received. We will then ask you to prioritize what the SIG should focus on in the future. All in all, this will be like a Delphi analysis.

Your responses will help us shape future strategic initiatives and priorities. There are no right or wrong answers. We encourage detailed responses based on your expertise and experience. Your responses will be anonymous.

Thank you once again for your valuable feedback and for being part of our community!

Lauri Wessel
SIG DITE president, on behalf of the SIG DITE
